What

Third-person narrative ARPG set in Melbourne’s nightlife scene. More detail of the games inspiration can be found on my itch page.

The game features a magic based combat system that is designed solely around the clothing the player wears.

When

mid 2021 - present

Why

A culmination of my skills with the intention of seeking screen agency funding. I went for low fidelity stylised realism as at the time of inception, i really wanted the game to run on Nintendo Switch. Godot’s slower 3D performance has made me reconsider.

How

Using every tool available to me. Mostly developed in Unity but mostly ported to Godot in late 2024 - All scenes and art are across with pipelines for future art and systems have been rewritten in gdscript though gameplay is not yet stiched together.

Major focus on designing systems and repeatable asset pipelines to create a vertical slice.

I’ve also done exploration into procedural dungeons using an open source library but the game will only feature a handful of dungeons anyway.
